Giving back is an important value we endeavour to uphold at Summit Planners. With the Mid-Autumn Festival around the corner, it was a wonderful opportunity to partake in the revelry while celebrating its connotations of happy reunions and a hearty harvest.
In this joyful spirit and to show our support for the frontliners of Home Nursing Foundation, we organised a virtual snowskin mooncake workshop for 50 healthcare professionals from Home Nursing Foundation and 50 of our associates. Getting to know the vision, mission and values behind Home Nursing Foundation, we are happy and honoured to be able to extend our care through this engaging activity.
Each attendee received a mooncake making kit curated by award-winning social enterprise Food Playground to create their own festive creations via a virtual mooncake making session. Held on Thursday 16 September, it was a light-hearted afternoon of hands-on fun where participants were taught how to make their own snowskin mooncakes from scratch. Guided by the facilitators of Food Playground, it was definitely an immersive and interesting experience for all.
This initiative spearheaded by our Principal Consultant, Stephen Chew, was a resounding success and enjoyed by all. We are also honoured to be mentioned on Business Times (20 September 2021):
