There are many ways to kick start a brand new year – at Summit Planners we believe in launching right in with a tremendous bang! That is the reason why we always begin the New Year with the mandatory Goal Setting Retreat, where we all get together and align our goals, timelines and action plans for the year ahead!
A motivational event is not merely for practical purposes, it also helps to boost the morale and fighting spirit of each and every planner. Employees become more productive when they feel a greater sense of involvement and belonging. We believe in involving our planners in establishing our organisation’s goals and ideals so that they remain motivated even in the face of conflicting demands and increasing pressures. Just as important, effective retreats produce concrete approaches for tackling long-standing and difficult problems.
The day dawned bright and early on the first day of 2016. With happy hearts and excited grins on our faces, we assembled at the terminal before boarding the ferry for the sunny shores of Batam, Indonesia. Upon reaching our destination, we made for our enclave for the next few days – the beautiful and serene Montigo Resorts. Resort-style indulgence beckoned at every corner with lush, tropical charms in full bloom – truly a perfect place to kick back and enjoy while getting the important stuff done!
