STEPHEN CHEW BAN ENG (FCCA, ChFC, CLU, AIF, TEP)

In 1987, Stephen Chew completed his ACCA at the age of 21. In the same year he started lecturing in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) majoring in management accounting, advanced accounting and Singapore taxation; to date, he has trained more than 15,000. As a tax practitioner, Stephen has worked as a tax consultant in both international auditing firms and MNCs.

The author of five books, Stephen has written two books dedicated to students preparing for the professional accountancy examinations. The other three books “Taxation Relevant to Insurance Practitioner”, “Estate Planning Relevant to Financial Advisors” and “Planning for Business Owners and Professional” were also well received.

Stephen is currently the Principal Consultant, specialising in Corporate Risk Management and Estate Planning. Stephen has been involved in designing solutions for business owners to minimise risk, with particular emphasis on risk avoidance, risk prevention and risk transfer. He has successfully implemented many business successions planning for different types of business setup, including sole proprietorship, partnership, limited company and merger and acquisition.

In the area of Corporate Finance, Stephen has been involved in various restructuring of companies, merger and acquisition, private placement and debts restructuring.
